Did 20 miles today and averaged 32kph. I'm gaining speed and I'm really digging my new Deuter Race X Air pack - it's so comforatble. It has mesh straps and a mesh back with a hard back so that the backpack floats on your back - no more sweaty spots around your shoulder or back. I wish I could have found this before my camalbak or my north face pack. The weather here has been very un-seattle like. Then I got stuck in some crazy ass traffic that made me want to get my motorcycle even more and remind me that seattle needs some federal infrastructure funding... The only good freeways here are the 405 and the 5. Also saw The Animation Show. Mike Judge is guy that made Beavis and Butthead, King of the Hill, and some other cool shit. Don Hertzfeldt has won a bunch of awards for his short films. The enlightenment for the day was that Mike has a physics degree. Yet another warning sign that winter is coming, there were a bunch of Canadian Geese, probably about a hundred or so. They were chillin', then one decided it was time to go and the rest followed in a noisy swarm of kazoos. They would also crap all at once - made it feel like pearl harbor. The last thought of the night is Japanese animé vs US animation. Adult swim is getting repetitive - which just means I need to sleep instead of watching reruns. Trigun and Family Guy are the only things keeping me going - probably 'cause I never watched them enough before now. Futurama, Bebop, Inuyasha, Blue Gender are all repeats now =( I sure hope Bebop comes out with another movie.
