It was an amazing weekend. It's official - I bought the CBR600RR in red/black - They also had the 954RR for $7999 which is an amazing deal (they normally MSRP for $10,599), but I want the tailpipe under the seat. I'll forgo the extra power for that =) I got an Arai RX-7 Corsair Edwards Race Replica #6 Red for my helmet. Joe Rocket Ballistic 4.0 pants and Meteor 4.0 jacket and Alepinestar SP-1 gloves. I still need boots with a good heel, and then I'll start collecting leather gear for those non-wet days. On the list of mods are a fender eliminator, modulator for the headlights, tinted double bubble windshield, tank bra, bag for the gear, and I'm thinking of LED tire lights too and maybe a trailer. The bike comes tommorrow, and the gear arrives Thursday. Went running @ seward w/ Janet, bought some chocolate popcorn from a boy scout, had brunch @ Ray's boathouse w/ aaron, drank like mad at Des Amis with Seti, Cora, and Z whom I haven't seen in forever (and saw the most beautiful Ethiopian - yes Ed an Ethiopian) and did 20 miles in the new helmet which is really nice. The Bell Ghisallo in red looks great w/ my bike and jersey. Now it's back to work. The rain has started and I'm counting down the days to snowboarding.

coolness.. you got a Ghisallo as well... nice. It is quite comfy on my head and fits (at least for me) pretty well too.

you should have been a stud and bought a yamaha man! or at least the 4fi or 599 to go the honda route. OR you coulda waited for the new R1 and spent yur monies wisely! nice lid tho

I saw a video of the turbo busa today at the VW shop - 1.3L with a turbo - 17psi - it went clear to 200mph easily... insane... my 600RR will be plenty fast enough for now, and I wanted the muffler in the tail up position =) My bro used to have a R6 - I like the headlights on that thing...
